The C57 serves the village of Gartmore to the south of Aberfoyle. The route is really 3 roads, each running from the A81 into the village, where they meet at the south end of Main Street. The first starts to the north at Cobleland, and runs south west, the second starts just to the north of the Kelty Water and runs west, and the third starts south east of Dalmary, heading north west, then north into Gartmore.
