This article is about the Class III road numbered C5 maintained by Angus Council. For other roads numbered C5, see C5.
The C5 is a short route which seems to be left over and no longer so relevant in the modern road network on the edge of Dundee. It starts on the C6 at Barns of Wedderburn on the northern fringe of the city and heads west, quickly picking up the council boundary and following it. The route comes to an end at Powrie, where the road crosses the boundary to meet a loop of the old A929, replaced by the dualled A90.
