|Distance:||2.5 miles (4 km)|
The C5 is almost entirely made up of 'New Road' which despite its name has been around since before 1880, its locally known as the Lavant Straight.
The Eastern End terminates with a t-Junction with the A285, Stane Street which is the Roman Road from London to Chichester. As we head up the road we get to some cross roads, however weirdly the roads that go across are one way for the first 5 meters, except cyclists before turning into two way traffic meaning you can only leave the C5 and not cross or join it.
A little further up there is another cross road, this time with two way traffic due to the better visibility. We then get to a roundabout and width restrictions start at 6"6'. Shortly after this we get to a bend in the road and it changes it attitude as it is now going up an old road called Fordwater Road which struggles to have two way traffic on it. It finally weaves through some buildings to end as a t-junction on Pook Lane in East Lavant.
