The C614 is a fairly lengthy route in the shape of a T with an additional spur. At its southern end the road provides a link over the Strule between the A5 and the B48 north of Omagh. Along this link is a T junction from which the main portion of the route makes its way north. Shortly after leaving the T junction a spur links to the B48 a little further north. Continuing northwards, the road follows the Strule River downstream on its eastern side. After several kilometres of following the river the road comes to an end at a T junction with the C613 just outside Newtownstewart.
