The C660 follows Charlton Road in the Norton Hill area of Midsomer Norton. It is a busy suburban link route which starts on the A367, Fosseway, and heads west to meet the B3355, Silver Street opposite the railway museum. The next connection between these two routes to the north is the A362, which connects the two town centres of Midsomer Norton and Radstock.
