The C672 is a lengthy route in west Tyrone. It starts on the B72 at Edenasop and heads north east. Soon the road TOTSOs east at a T junction. A spur of the route soon turns north towards Garvetagh and from there TOTSOs to meet the B50 a short distance to the north. Back on the main line of the route, the road comes to a crossroads and TOTSOs east, turning north east as it crosses the B50. The road meets the C679 and the two routes briefly multiplex with each other before the C679 turns off to the south while the C672 turns north east. The road crosses the C680 and follows the southern bank of the River Derg to a T junction at Carnkenny from which it TOTSOs north to meet the B164 in Ardstraw. The last stretch of the road leaves the B164 on the other side of the bridge and links to the B72 in the village of Victoria Bridge.
