The C711 is Northern Ireland's highest numbered C road. It starts on the A4 outside Brookeborough in County Fermanagh and heads north west initially before turning westwards across the Colebrooke River. The road soon crosses the B535 and continues westwards in the direction of Lisbellaw. The road ends just before reaching the village as it runs onto the B140 at a TOTSO.
