The C76 maintained by Central Bedfordshire Council runs from Ridgmont through Salford, to the boundary with Milton Keynes Council where it becomes the C41. Changes to roads around Ridgmont altered the road significantly, with parts becoming bypasses and extending the road northeast along the former A507.
