The C774 maintained by Lincolnshire Council is part of the former B1358 between Saracen's Head and Laurel Lodge. It is a two lane single carriageway and provides access to Penny Hill.
Once a short-cut for A17 traffic wanting to bypass Holbeach, it was downgraded to Class III status following the opening of the A17 Holbeach bypass, which runs an almost parallel route to the south.
