This article is about the Class III road numbered C77 maintained by Scottish Borders Council.

The C77 starts on the B6374 in the Langlee part of Galashiels and heads north, climbing at first above the Allan Water. At Langshaw, the stream is crossed three times in quick succession as the valley turns north west, but then the C77 cuts across a gap in the hills to find the Lauder Burn. Instead of following it, the road climbs up and over the summit of Woodheads Hill, before dropping down into Lauder. The C77 keeps to its old route through the town, dropping down Mill Wynd in the market, rather than following the modern Thirlestane Drive route.
