The C83 consists of Old Govan Road in the east of Renfrew and King's Inch Drive. Running eastwards from the A8 it continues on through the southern part of the extensive Braehead retail complex. The road turns southwards along the edge of the complex before meeting the A8 once again at a roundabout straddling the council boundary.
