This article is about the Class III road numbered C87 maintained by North Lanarkshire Council.

The C87 starts on the A722 in Wishaw and heads north along Coltness Road, historically part of the Wishaw High Road. Most of the old Coltness Estate buildings have long since been demolished to make way for the new housing estates, through which the C87 winds before leaving Wishaw behind. It quickly drops down to cross the South Calder Water, before climbing again into Cleland. Here it meets the C86, Wishaw Low Road at a roundabout, and whilst the C86 is largely defunct, it still seems to take precedence, following Main Street east to the B7029.
