This article is about the Class III road numbered C8E maintained by Moray Council.
For other roads numbered C8, see C8.
For other roads numbered C8, see C8.
The C8E starts and finishes on the C7E, with a short spur to the A96. This seemingly complicated description is easily explained - the original C8E started on the A96 and ran north to meet the C7E near Dyke. However, when the A96 was realigned on the south side of the railway, to avoid two bridges, most of the former A96 was added to the C8E route.
