The C8 starts on the A914 in Cupar, near the supermarkets, and heads south east out of town along Ceres Road. It climbs up over Ceres Moor, dropping down into the village where it follows Cupar Road and Main Street to the B939. A short dogleg to the right sees the route continue south along Teasses Road, initially following the Craighall Burn before climbing over the hills to reach the crossroads at Teuchats Toll. The route ends here, on the C60.
