The C97 is generally a quiet road serving the scattered houses along the coast to the north of Trinity. However, it does have a claim to fame, in that it passes close to the highest point on Jersey, near the radar station at Les Platons. There is a car park at the western end of the route, and extensive paths across the hillside for visiting this point.
