Route
The C9 starts as Bell's Lane at a junction with the C8 in the centre of Hoo. Heading north, the road passes many new housing developments before reaching a roundabout with the dual carriageway A228. The C9 continues in a north west direction as Dux Court Road into open countryside. Passing many farms, the road eventually ends up in High Halstow, where it terminates at the junction with the C10.
