This article is about the Class III road numbered C9 maintained by North Ayrshire Council.
For other roads numbered C9, see C9.
For other roads numbered C9, see C9.
The C9 starts on the B730 at Drybridge and heads west along Shewalton Road to the B7080. This is a new road which was built as part of the expansion of Irvine. Previously, the C9 continues west to meet the A78 (now the A737) just south of Irvine, and whilst most of the road is still there, severed only by the new A78 route, it appears it is no longer part of the C9.
