The 'Camden Street Slip in Newcastle upon Tyne was a simple single entry sliproad junction from the local road network to the A167(M).

However, it was planned to be in this form only temporarily, with the eventual use planned to be as access from the unbuilt Central Motorway East Bypass onto the Central Motorway. In the event, it was used for around 40 years in its temporary form before closure.
