Camel Cross these days describes a T Junction near West Camel, on the A303.
The junction has shifted northwards as the road has been realigned. The A303 west of here used to be the A372, and the minor turning, while the B3151 used to be the main A303.
The "Cross" in the name refers to a different junction, positioned almost immediately east of the modern T Junction. This crossroads served two roads which have both now been closed, replaced by another crossroads at Plowage.
