Capability Green is a junction on the A1081 on the outskirts of Luton
The junction was constructed to serve the Capability Green business park. The business park was developed by Nicholas Harold Phillips, owner of the Luton Hoo Estate (source: Harpenden Historical Society). He named it as a reference to much of the Luton Hoo's gardens having been laid out by Capability Brown (source: wikipedia).
