Carrick-on-Shannon Bridge is a five-arched limestone bridge carrying the N4 across the River Shannon at Carrick-on-Shannon. It was built in 1845-6 by the Commissioners for the Improvement of the Navigation of the River Shannon to replace an earlier eleven-arched stone bridge dating from 1718.
