Castlefields Roundabout is a junction in Telford. It was originally planned as a roundabout interchange called Woodside Interchange as part of the unbuilt Western Primary which would have deviated from the present Queensway and headed northwest from the junction along the former railway line through Doseley and Lawley. With the scaling back of the proposals for Telford in the mid 1970s the Western Primary was built as the single carriageway A4169 between this junction and Tweedale Interchange. The A4169 from the roundabout west to Cherry Tree Hill was a part of the original plans but not as the Queensway. Instead it would have been part of a direct link to Buildwas.
