Cavendish Bridge is a bridge carrying the B5010 across the River Trent on London Road, Shardlow. Prior to the completion of the A50 this road was known as the A6
The previous bridge was constructed in 1760. It was washed away by the floods of 1947 and replaced by a Bailey Bridge. In turn the existing structure opened in 1957.
