Coul Brae Roundabout lies at the East end of the Mosstodloch bypass on the A96. The bypass was taken to the south of the village, but has to resume its original line at the east end in order to cross the Spey on Fochabers Bridge. The old A96 line through the village is now part of the B9015, which was realigned as part of construction of the bypass. The two roads previously crossed in the centre of Mosstodloch, at a crossroads. However, with the construction of the bypass and a desire to minimise the number of junctions, the southern arm of the B9015 was re routed in a sweeping loop through fields to meet this roundabout, the northern arm simply using the old A96 route.
The roundabout actually lies a little to the south of the old route of the A96, and a fifth exit leads to the Baxters factory and visitor centre which is sited on the former route of the A96 to the northeast of the junction. This section of the old road now leads directly into the factory, with only a footpath continuing to the new road.
