The Countess Wear Roundabout is a traffic light controlled roundabout on one of the main routes into Exeter city centre.
History
The A38 and A377 at Countess Wear before the M5 was built
Originally this was a junction of the A377 and A378 (Exeter). With the building of the Exeter bypass to the north, the A38 was diverted from Exeter city centre to cross through here.
