The Craigs Roundabout lies at the heart of Stirling's Road network, being the point where the A905 and B8052 meet the A9. Until quite recently, the A811 also reached this far, but it has now been re-routed to meet the A84 at Ballengeich Roundabout on the west side of the city. Its former route is now unclassified, and no longer signed as a through route so as to help relieve traffic in the city centre.
The junction remains a 5 way roundabout, however, with the dualled A9 passing through from south to north. The A905 approaches from the east, and the former A811 route along Wellgreen Road heads east. In the north east corner, the B8052 also manages to squeeze in, although there is some conflict here due to the close proximity of the A9 exit. The roundabout is lined with circulatory lanes to guide traffic to the correct exit, with three lanes around most of it. However, this doesn't prevent some traffic cutting across lanes, whether from laziness or finding themselves in the wrong approach lane.
