Crossings related to the B842 | |||
Crossaig Bridge carries the B842 across the Crossaig Burn on the east side of Kintyre. It appears to be early 19th century in date, and is a single stone arch carrying a single track road between grass verges (which continue over the bridge). There is very little adornment to the bridge, which bears similarities with the designs of Thomas Telford, most notably the parapets which curve down at either end. The bridge received a substantial repair in early 2016 after damage was found to the abutments and footings.
