Crownhill Junction on the A386 to the north of Plymouth city centre is a modified Cloverleaf Junction, and as such it is a very unusual design. The modifications are that the sliproad entry and exits on the A386 have been stretched apart (possibly to minimise weaving on the main route, though the B3413 was the A38 when the junction was built) and the north west corner has has a roundabout added to the design to join the B3373 to the slips for the B3413. Being in an urban environment, the sliproads also have additional junctions on them accessing residential roads, shops and a police station.
