Dovecothall Roundabout is a small four arm roundabout junction on the A736 in Barrhead. The A736 comes in from the north as a single carriageway and turns to head south west through the town centre as a dual carriageway. The roundabout is also the western end of the B773 which heads east to meet the A726 at Nitshill, while the fourth arm is an unclassified road which heads south around the northern edge of the town. The roundabout was built in c1970, along with a new bridge over the Levern Water immediately to the north, and removed a series of sharp bends on the A736 as it crossed the older bridge on Caribar Road. The southern arm of the A736 appears to have been dualled at a later date.
