This is the ECML at the Carlton-on-Trent Level Crossing.

ECML is the standard abbreviation of East Coast Main Line, the high-speed railway between London Kings Cross and various places on the eastern side of Great Britain.

As used in road descriptions, the term refers to the electrified railway between Kings Cross and Edinburgh Waverley via York, and the railway onward to Aberdeen via the Forth and Tay bridges.
