Crossings related to the A30 | |||
Built by the Yeovil Turnpike Company in 1831 to replace the medieval Haselbury Bridge, this structure is also occasionally known as Haselbury New Bridge. The A30 crosses the tiny River Parrett with an embanked approach which includes at least one additional arch, which seems to be more a culvert than anything else. The river bridge itself is a fairly ordinary stone arch.
