Ebbsfleet Interchange is a junction on the A2. It was initially a standard crossroads between the A2 and the B259, but was converted to a flyover with two sliproads facing east.
The two sliproads were very poorly designed by modern standards: steep and narrow. The eastbound onslip was eventually modified to merge with the garage, and then follow the old alignment of the road, before eventually leading to Pepperhill Junction without the opportunity to join the A2.
There was also an eastbound offslip, which left the A2 at a sharp angle, and then ran down to the sub station access, before giving the opportunity to join the B259. The B259 here was replaced by the A2260 link road.
The junction was extensively upgraded with the A2 upgrade works. The garage was connected to a new roundabout, although it eventually closed. The two old offslips now broadly form the route of the new cycle paths.
