For other Asda Roundabouts, see Asda Roundabout.
Edgar Road Roundabout, also sometimes referred to as the Asda Roundabout, lies on the A941 to the south of Elgin town centre. Edgar Road is home to Elgin's Retail Park, making this junction very busy, especially as the northern arm of the A941 also crosses the busiest of the railway bridges in Elgin. The roundabout is a four arm junction, with two approach lanes from each direction. The A941 crosses from north to south, with Edgar Road itself heading west. To the east, Linkwood Road is the quietest of the arms, and heads south east into the Linkwood area of Elgin.
Asda Roundabout
The proper Asda Roundabout lies to the west of the Edgar Road Roundabout and provides the main access to Asda and B&Q. It too is a four arm roundabout (the two stores are opposite each other), and can easily become jammed on a busy Saturday afternoon.
