Elphin Bridge carries the A835 across the Abhainn a Chnochain in between the tiny settlements of Elphin and Knockan. The bridge is a single span concrete bridge carrying a wide S2 carriageway with pavements on both sides. The current bridge probably dates from the 1970s, and replaced an older structure which lay immediately to the east, the old southern approach is still in use to reach outbuildings, although the bridge itself has been completely removed.
