Enzie Crossroads lies in the scattered hamlet of Enzie a mile or so inland from Portgordon. The A990 turns north off the A98 and heads for Portgordon, a coastal village a little to the west of Buckie, whilst the B9016 heads south to Keith.
Originally a straight crossroads, both the side roads have now been slightly realigned to form a staggered crossroads, with the A990 turned a little to the east and the B9016 to the west. The older line of the roads can still be traced in the wide grass verges. These changes did not extend to providing any room for turning traffic, but the roads are rarely busy enough to cause major hold ups.
The properties to the north are called Enzie Crossroads Cottages.
