Ewhurst Roundabout used to be a roundabout on the A23 in Crawley that was created with the rest of the Crawley Bypass in 1938, however it was removed in the 1960s, potentially due to the proximity of the new roundabout to the east that was constructed in 1953 and that Ifield Road was an old road not designed for the new town, while Ifield Avenue that was built in 1953 was built for the future. The roundabout did have a subway, which does remain today, also the ends of ifield road have a very odd shape, which would of been where they connected to the roundabout.
