Fethard Interchange, 1.5 km south-west of Cashel in County Tipperary, is junction 8 of the M8. It is a modified dumbbell (and originally had no access to the M8 southwards).

The junction incorporates two additional roundabouts (beside the usual dumbbell pair at either end of the bridge over the motorway):

  • Clonmel Road Roundabout (connecting the R688 to the southbound M8 on-slip); and
  • Fethard Road Roundabout (connecting the southbound M8 off-slip to the R692).
