Very unusual type of street light along the A452 at a roundabout between Solihull and Castle Bromwich. I'm told that these columns and brackets were probably installed in the 1960s, and apparently the original lanterns were Thorn/Atlas Alpha 3s. I remember when these street lights had Thorn Alpha 8s (SON/HPS) only a few years ago, and now they're Holophane V-Max (LED).
