Description:A12 Chelmsford Bypass

Approach signage for the A130 junction. The A130 used to head through central Chelmsford, but multiplexes with the A12 for a couple of miles. The route into Chelmsford is now A1114 and A1060. The route south now follows the D2M Rettendon Bypass, with hard-shoulders.
