Description:A80 Upgrade Cumbernauld-Old Inns

The gap in the trees to the right was the original pre-dual carriageway A80 alignment, into Cumbernauld village. It looks (not apparent in this photo) as if it's going to carry a road again to serve a cottage behind and to the right of the camera which will no longer be able to exit onto the upgraded road. There were grey stakes inserted along it.
