Description:B7078 (ex 1960s A74), just south of Blackwood

It's clear that this was originally D2, and they seem to mow the grass along here regularly - perhaps it's because Blackwood is just round the bend to the right and it's popular for dog walkers etc. The black car is at the junction where the J9 (Draffan) off-slip meets this stretch. The off-slip is a long one and also looks as if it has been D2, so I assume it was an on-line upgrade of an earlier D2 A74 layout, which could be done because the original alignment ran through Blackwood for non-M74 traffic.
