Description:Baslow Road Bridge, Calver - 1 (C) Terry Robinson
This functional bridge, built in 1974 as part of the By-Pass (A623) Road, doesn't compare in any which way with the original bridge ... but serves the same purpose!

The hand rail leads down to a Footpath cum Subway which runs under the bridge alongside the River Derwent to the Village Church and School
