Description:Cork City railway 1974 - 1 Street running was once common in Ireland, but by the 1970s only the Cork City lines remained, linking the main station on Glanmire Road with the former Cork Bandon & South Coast Railway yards at Albert Quay. A CIE 141 class diesel locomotive is at the west end of Alfred Street with a working from Albert Quay to Glanmire Road.
