Description:In 2007 a £1bn+ scheme for improving the A14 between Cambridge and Huntingdon was announced. In 2009 several designs for Girton Interchange were drawn up. The most ambitious of these had links to and from the A428. It is unlikely this option would have been chosen given that the additional links would have raised the cost of an already very expensive scheme.
