Description:Eastern end of the Great Yorkshire Way A6182.

Junction with the A638, former Great North Road. Looking east. Taken from Doncaster Council YouTube.

I think it is called Parrots Corner. The river is the River Torne. The pub on the A638 is the Hare & Tortoise, which is a Mitchells and Butlers Vintage Inn, in Rossington.

The 4ZH pylon line to the left of the picture originates at Brinsworth Substation, crosses the M1 north of junction 32, passes near junction 4 (A630) of the M18, to the Thorpe Marsh substation near Barnby Dun, and a line further north from there goes to Drax power station. The other main substation for South Yorkshire is Neepsend. In June 2008, these substations were in deep water.
