Description:M6 at the northern end of the Lancaster bypass, J35 - A601(M)

The M6 used to peel off to the left of the photo here and head up the dual-carriageway portion of the A601(M) to J35. The single-carriageway section of the A601(M) was added much later to allow HGV traffic to avoid the village of Carnforth.
