Description:M6 construction This is part of the construction of the M6 between Ballinasloe and Galway. When opened, expected late 2009 or early 2010, there will be a motorway standard road from Dublin to Galway. This section will be tolled and it follows a different line to the existing N6, via Athenry instead of Loughrea, so it will be interesting to see how many people continue to use the ???old??? road. This is a new over bridge being constructed for the N18. I am standing next to the existing N18. There will not be a junction here, as the terminus of the motorway is just to the west.
