Description:N11 Newtownmountkennedy bypass

Newtownmountkennedy boasts the longest village name in Ireland (at least in English, anyway). It was long a traffic blackspot in summer, but relief came in 1991 with the opening of a HQ dual carriageway bypass. This sign was added in 2006 and shows the new exit numbering coming into force across the radial routes from Dublin.
