Bridge carrying the B6083 road over the River Don in Attercliffe with the Five Weirs Walk running alongside. The area to the right was once the home of the Hecla Works where one of the world's first 'special steels' - manganese steel was developed by Robert A Hatfield. Together with the East Hecla site in Tinsley the firm had 15,000 employees at the height of production and a plaque commemorating this achievement is attached to the current building on the right of shot.
