Description:Old A38-A358

A once important but now, completely forgotten junction in Taunton. Looking north towards Bridgwater. Old A358 to Ilminster on right. It is cut off now, going into modern housing developments. M5 J25 replaced it in Nov 75, when the section from Bridgwater connected to the Taunton bypass which had opened in April 74. During that interim phase, all traffic must have turned in/out of the A358 off the M5.
